"Jessica Parisi is everything a parent looks for in an IRS instructor and teacher. We have four kids. My youngest two did IRS with Jessica last fall when they were 3.5 and newly 1 years old. My older two kids had already aged out of ISR and had previously done swim lessons through British Swim School before we moved to Florida. The older two can swim and play in water fine. But after lessons with Jessica, my 3-year-old can not only keep up with her older sisters, but safely outswim them. She knows how to swim and float for as long as she needs to rest and then swim again. And after his lessons with Jessica, my 1-year-old as soon as put in water in any position now automatically flips himself and floats on his back. It feels like magic watching a 1-year-old do something that looks so complicated when he can barely hold a fork.
Jessica puts safety first and walks you through everything she does simply and effectively. My 3-year-old was (and is) strong willed and stubborn. Jessica worked with her and got through to her in a way I had not seen other teachers be able to. My 1-year-old truly disliked his swim lessons at first. He cried the entire lesson and Jessica remained calm and comforted him. But after a few weeks, the 1-year-old started to truly enjoy the lessons and I was surprised at how much he had learned even while crying.
I signed my kids up for ISR because we moved and suddenly had a pool in our backyard with four small kids and a dog. I had seen videos and did research about ISR, but still wasn’t 100% sure it would work. Jessica not only helped me understand how it works, but showed me that both my kids could learn to safely float and add an extra layer of safety for our family.
My now 1.5-year-old, seems physically ready to learn to swim in between floats and I am excited to bring him back to Jessica later this year for more lessons."
